Connor Wood and his professional partner, Rylee Arnold, received their first set of perfect ten scores from the judges on Dancing with the Stars. The milestone occurred during the October 28 broadcast of Season 35. Wood, an Austin-born comedian and internet personality known online as Fibula, remains in the competition. His performance on Tuesday night generated immediate attention across social media platforms.

Wood attended the University of Texas at Austin from 2014 to 2018. He graduated with a Bachelor of Science in advertising, accompanied by minors in business administration and management. He began his career at Bumble immediately after graduating. Wood credited his time at the university with providing a foundation in marketing during the growth of the influencer industry. He noted that he did not originally plan to pursue a career in that specific sector.

The University of Texas football program and other SEC teams reacted to the result on social media. Coaches and players shared clips of touchdown celebrations with captions referencing Wood’s achievement. The posts described the scores as a mood for the teams. Former Texas safety Michael Taaffe also joined the conversation by sharing a trending audio clip of Wood’s reaction to a separate celebrity interaction on the Miami Dolphins’ TikTok account.

Wood’s viral moment followed a comment he made in an October 20 interview with BuzzFeed Celeb. He identified actress Jennifer Lawrence as a celebrity crush and stated he sought only a small acknowledgment of his humor from her. Lawrence responded directly on Instagram, claiming she had seen Wood drinking a smoothie on 8th Avenue and that he did not acknowledge her presence. Wood’s visible surprise at the reply became a widely shared audio clip.

The next episode of Dancing with the Stars is scheduled for a special Monday broadcast on November 2. This airing precedes Election Day. Viewers can watch the show live on ABC or stream it through Disney+, Fubo, DirecTV, and YouTube TV. Episodes become available on Hulu the day after the initial broadcast.

Wood and Arnold continue to compete in Season 35. The show typically airs new episodes on Tuesdays at 7 p.m. The recent shift to a Monday slot allows for a broadcast before the major political event. The pair has not yet been eliminated from the season.

The perfect scores represent a high point for Wood’s current season. His background in advertising and his presence on social media have drawn attention to his dance performances. The reaction from the Texas football community highlights the local connection between the performer and his former university.
