The Food and Drug Administration has issued a warning for Once Upon a Farm Tractor Wheels snack bars. The agency says the soft-baked treats pose a choking risk to toddlers. It is asking parents not to buy or serve the product.

The recall covers every flavor, quantity, and variety of the bars. All lot codes and expiration dates are included. The FDA stated that several reports described children suffering complete airway obstruction. In those cases, the children were unable to breathe.

The agency noted that the product forms a dry, sticky mass when chewed. Standard choking interventions, such as back blows and the Heimlich maneuver, may fail to dislodge it. Some incidents required emergency response and hospital observation. Once Upon a Farm said it received three reports of the potential hazard.

John Foraker, the company's CEO, said the firm is reformulating the bars. He stated the goal is to ensure they adhere to the highest standards. Foraker added that the company's mission is to drive systemic improvement in childhood nutrition by doing what is right for customers.

The recalled items include Apple, Sweet Potato, & Spinach; Strawberry, Pumpkin, & Beet; and Banana, Pumpkin & Cauliflower varieties. The bars are sold at major U.S. retailers, including Costco, Target, Walmart, and Amazon. Customers should return the product to the point of purchase for a full refund or email care@uponafarm.com. No other Once Upon a Farm products are impacted.
