Rialto Square Theatre in downtown Joliet will host a live comedy show on Saturday, Nov. 14. The Bored Teachers “Is It Friday Yet?!” tour will take the stage at the venue, which sits in the heart of the city. The performance is the latest stop on a national run for the group.
The comedy act has maintained a digital presence for nearly ten years. According to a news release from the theatre, the group has accumulated over 1 billion views and more than 10 million followers online. They also host a podcast focused on education humor. Since 2022, the troupe has performed for more than 200,000 teachers. Their touring history includes sold out venues in 200 theaters. Those shows spanned 49 states, five countries, and three continents.
The “Is It Friday Yet?!” tour began in January 2026. The release describes the new material as brand new jokes aimed at education workers. It frames the show as a night of solidarity for those who have taught lessons or attended parent-teacher conferences. The theatre promotes the event as a chance for audience members to hear stories from the group.
Tickets for the Joliet performance start at $29.75. Fans can purchase seats online through Ticketmaster.com. They may also buy passes in person at the Rialto Box Office. The theatre directs visitors to rialtosquare.com for further details on the event.
