Ayesha Curry is moving from supporting roles to the top of the billing with Second Chance Holiday, a new romantic comedy set to debut on The Roku Channel on November 5, 2026.

Curry portrays Chelsey, a dating expert who repeatedly finds herself single by the holiday season. Her character reconnects with a high school sweetheart, prompting a reconsideration of her romantic history. Actor Matthew Daddario appears alongside Curry in the production.

Following the trailer's release, Stephen Curry publicly backed the project, describing his wife as "My Leading Lady." He also commented on her preparation for the part, writing, "I get to see the work behind the scenes, and now the world gets to see you shine, and this is just the beginning…." Ayesha Curry stated, "There's something truly magical about holiday rom-coms. They invite you into these charming, cozy worlds where anything feels possible."

Second Chance Holiday adds a lead feature credit to Curry's existing acting work, which includes appearances in Hannah Montana, Good Luck Charlie, and Irish Wish. Her professional background also encompasses entrepreneurship, books, and television hosting.
