The Dallas Cowboys surrendered a 14-point fourth-quarter lead on Sunday to the Arizona Cardinals, snapping a 69-0 home record when leading by double digits in the final frame.
The collapse ended a statistical streak dating back to the start of the modern era. The loss marked the first time in that history that a team with 14 or more points in the fourth quarter at home failed to hold onto the victory.
On the other side of the league, Detroit Lions running back Jahmyr Gibbs recorded 153 rushing yards against the Minnesota Vikings. Gibbs became the first player since 2011 to rush for at least 150 yards against an opponent holding a 6-0 or better record entering the game.
The Tampa Bay Buccaneers secured a 16-0 victory over the Atlanta Falcons with a 0-for-3 passing performance by Baker Mayfield. The Bucs became the first team since 1974 to win a game with zero pass completions. The Falcons allowed 324 rushing yards to Tampa Bay, a franchise record for the most rushing yards surrendered in a single contest.
The Baltimore Ravens lost two starting quarterbacks before the first half concluded. Lamar Jackson exited the first offensive play with a thumb injury, and Tyler Huntley left in the second quarter with a toe injury. Undrafted rookie Joe Fagnano became the only healthy quarterback on the roster. The Ravens became the first team since 2017 to have three different quarterbacks throw passes in the first half of a game.
The Cincinnati Bengals defeated the Tennessee Titans 43-36. That final score represented the first time in NFL history that specific combination of points has appeared.
