Gamblers now pay six dollars and fifty cents to win one dollar on a bet that Ohio State loses to USC this weekend. The Buckeyes are the most notable name on a list of five ranked teams that bookmakers view as vulnerable in Week 9.

The first point of uncertainty centers on the quarterback position in Columbus. Head coach Ryan Day did not name a starter for Saturday's game. The team appears likely to insert true freshman Luke Fahey, who replaced Julian Sayin two weeks ago against Indiana. Day noted that the unit must support the young player to secure a first victory as a Buckeye. He stated that every member of the program must execute at a high level to handle the Trojans' talent and coaching staff.

The second point of risk involves Georgia's turnover margin. The Bulldogs host Florida at Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta as an eleven point and fifty cent favorite. Georgia ranks fourth in the SEC with a plus-three turnover margin this season. However, the team lost to Auburn earlier in the month after Gunner Stockton threw three interceptions. Florida's coaching staff faces a decision between Tramell Jones Jr. and Aaron Philo at quarterback. Jones performed well against Texas in the previous game, creating a strategic dilemma for the Gators' offensive line.

The third point of focus is Utah's road trip to Cincinnati. The Utes are a six point and fifty cent underdog against the Bearcats. Cincinnati defeated Texas Tech last weekend, and coach Scott Satterfield aims to replicate that performance. Utah fields one of the top run defenses in the country and the Big 12's second-best scoring offense, averaging 37.4 points per game. The Utes must contain Bearcats running back Cole Tabb, who leads the conference with 9.6 yards per carry and rushed for a season-high 173 yards in his last outing.

Texas Tech hosts Arizona as a three point and fifty cent favorite. The Red Raiders allowed four touchdown passes during their recent loss at Cincinnati. Arizona quarterback Noah Fifita has completed for 2,064 yards and 18 touchdowns this season. The Wildcats have won five consecutive games since an early loss at BYU. Texas Tech coach Joey McGuire holds a 8-8 record against top-25 opponents, marking the best winning percentage in the Big 12.

Missouri travels to Arkansas as a nine point and fifty cent underdog. The Razorbacks are 2-10 against the Tigers since Missouri joined the SEC in 2014. Arkansas coach Ryan Silverfield described the rivalry as a source of motivation but said he is treating the preparation like any other home game. Missouri running back Ahmad Hardy returned to practice this week after recovering from a gunshot wound sustained in May. Coach Eli Drinkwitz said Hardy's availability for Saturday remains undecided.

The College Football Playoff selection committee will release its first rankings on Tuesday night. Those initial opinions will provide details on conference valuations and the impact of quality wins. Several of the games on this weekend's slate could influence those early assessments.
