LaMelo Ball scored 34 points to lead the Minnesota Timberwolves to a 112-100 victory over the Milwaukee Bucks on Monday night in Minneapolis.

Ball connected on 12 of 21 field goal attempts and six three-pointers in his highest-scoring game of the season. Ayo Dosunmu contributed 19 points and 12 rebounds, while Rudy Gobert added 10 points and 10 rebounds for a double-double.

Tyler Herro led Milwaukee with 21 points. The Bucks fell for the sixth time in their first seven games. Jaime Jaquez Jr. recorded 19 points and eight rebounds, and Myles Turner and AJ Green each scored 13 points.

Minnesota controlled the final stretch of the game by outscoring Milwaukee 32-24 in the fourth quarter. The team started the period on an 11-3 run that widened a four-point lead into a 12-point margin. Jaden McDaniels scored six points during that sequence with a running layup, a jump shot, and a tip-in.

The Timberwolves established an early advantage, leading by 11 points in the first four minutes of the game. Ball hit a three-pointer to put Minnesota ahead 15-4. The lead grew to 13 points in the final minute of the first quarter, though Brayden Burries made a layup to close the gap to 29-18 at the end of the period.

Milwaukee mounted a rally in the second quarter, outscoring Minnesota 29-19 to tie the game at the half. The Bucks began the period with a 10-2 run that included three-pointers by Green, a layup by Ryan Rollins, and a floating jump shot by Burries. Burries finished with nine points and nine rebounds but missed 11 of his 15 field goal attempts.

Nate Ament, a first-round draft pick this year like Burries, scored four points off the bench. Minnesota played without Terrence Shannon Jr., who sat out with a left hip contusion. He joined Anthony Edwards and Donte DiVincenzo on the inactive list due to a right knee injury and a right Achilles tendon issue, respectively.
